TABLELANDS

When Richard Riddiford decided to build a new country homestead he knew what he wanted. We were commissioned to rationalise and document a Sir Michael Fowler design for a large courtyard house and set about reducing the scale of the buildings without abandoning the traditional architectural aesthetic. Parquet flooring throughout the living areas, together with high-pitched interior ceilings complement the collection of antique furniture and oriental rugs. This is a stately home worthy of the name 'Tablelands', which is the name of the original historic Riddiford family homestead.
