This interesting project included the total removal of a landmark historic house in Lyall bay Wellington that was then reinstated in Martinborough 120km away. The house was transported in 4 pieces and re-erected on new piles amongst an establishing vineyard. Included in the design was a new addition to the rear of the house accommodating a wine cellar kitchen and garage. The interior and exterior was then renovated and restored to a very high standard including fixtures and fittings that retain or enhanced the house’s character.
