This is essentially a two level house with an intermediate linking level. High open ceilings and high level borrowed light, combined with the variety of levels contribute to creating successful interior spaces. The concept is a ranch style archetype to the open west side resting against a monolithic wall turning its back to the street. A pleasing combination of stained weatherboard and stucco has been used to articulate the exterior forms.
