The seaside location of the sandbar forms part of the inspiration for the transformation of an old bottle store into a neighborhood bar & restaurant. The interior and exterior use simple rough timber paneling in conjunction with carefully detailed timber joinery to both suggest the cosy architecture of seaside baches, boat sheds and timber buildings and to reflect the craftsman construction seen in traditional boat building.
